Plurals

I made a poster about plurals a couple of days ago about how to spell words containing plurals.

 

My Character Discription

We are learning how to write a character description using similes

My dad is as tall as the Eiffel tower. Anyway his name is rob. He can be as loud as a lion. He likes to dress smartly. He is allergic to cats . His eyes are as brown as hazel. He does not smile much. He can swim like a shark. He has yellow teeth from years of eating. He is awesome at doing his job.

His favourite colour is black. If you go through his stuff you will find that he loves to fix technical things. He can be very angry when he is mad, he looks like a volcano erupting!!!
When he is happy he looks like a piglet in the gooey brown mud. If you do not know my dad you 

will probably think he will harm you but really he will not because he is like a soft teddybear.
He can be VERY annoying.nHe is as protective as the king lion in a pride. One day he asked me to do a job for him i went and did it. guess what it was to do!
It was to make ice cream

We learning a variety of new dance moves and how to dance in time with the music.

Integrity poster

on tuesday we went to the Roslyn school band it was AWSOME!!! I loved it.

RSS Hub launch

On Monday 5th of August was the RSS hub launch.

I dressed up as a witch. 

It was funny.

I had black all over but I had a colourful hat.

SUCCESS CRITERIA: To be successful we need to...

- Read at a steady pace, not too fast and not to slow

- Read each sentence with accuracy, not making too many mistakes

- Use good phrasing, paying attention to punctuation and sentence structure

- Change my voice to show feeling or to sound like different characters

SELF ASSESSMENT: Did you achieve the WALT? Explain why?

I think I changed my voice well to sound like the characters in the book. I think I used good punctuation.

Production Writing

We went and got on stage and started to dance. I went to the front. The audience felt captivated.
I blowed 5 kisses and suddenly we had to do the grand fanally. It felt like my head popped off instantly. I just got on stage  and we did it perfectly but I did not know that it was not finished so I started  to jump up and leaved but no I didn't so I sat down and sore the teachers dance
stephen had a costume it was a orange dress and blue high heel boots

I went to get changed but the main room was full so I went to the bath room and got changed when Aye got out of the bath room we found out that caiden was about to go in but georgia was still in there I charged to the changing room but i did not find stephen.

 but then i sore that stephen was coming my way by now he had a box full of costumes.
I put my smooth costume in the not so plain box.
I went to find my mum and dad then i went to my great nana's house and piked up vinnie and went home and hoped in to my cuddly warm bed.
In the morning I got to go to school.

Production

Basic Facts

Since the start of the year we have been doing basic facts tests. I think that I have done a great job because I am very confident in learning my basic facts.

At the start of the year my score was 48 and now its 76.

Perimeter and Area

W.A.l.T to find perimeter and Area of a shape.
In our class we we measured the square and this is how you do it...
The Perimeter is the distance around the shape.
The Area is the distance inside the shape.
The Perimeter of the square is 900 metres
The Area is 50,000 metres..

My Cross Country Reflection

Before the race: I had butterfly's in my stomach and I felt like running away. I wanted it to just be a practice, like it always was before today.

During the race: when it was time for the warm up I was so scared. Then I was in, the middle of a day dream so when I heard the big, HONK I instantly woke up. Then ran to the net but it was to late because I slowed down and started loosing my power. Don don don.
Then after a quick rest I was back and running for my life again but I got to the gate and started slowing down again. But I kept on going on and I heard every one, cheering out my name. So I didn't come last!

After the race: I started crying because I felt sick and I still do right now. So I tried to find my mum and I finally found her and then I went to class.
